Hackers have hacked into the account of a well known developer in NPM and embedded malicious code in popular JavaScript libraries that have been downloaded billions of times.

The result is ridiculous only $50 in ETH and memcoins were stolen.

But experts warn that the risk remains, as infected packages could end up in a huge number of projects. It is recommended to check transactions carefully and use cryptoservices more carefully.
