Fuel Subsidy:
Zulum releases 80 luxurious buses, and pick-up vans to farmers
To reduce the high cost of living caused by the withdrawal of fuel subsidy, Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, on Tuesday, released 80 buses and pick-up vans for free transportation of farmers from their communities to farmlands.
The 80 means of transport will comprise 50 luxurious buses to be allocated from the fleet of the Borno Express Corporation, a state-owned transport company, while the state 30 pick-up vans will be hired and provided by the state government.
“We are here purposely to support the farmers, you can see thousands of them have gathered and their numbers can reach up to 100,000. Due to the removal of fuel subsidies which although has a long-term benefit, the cost of transportation has increased. Therefore, Borno State Government has decided to provide 50 buses (and 30 pick-up vans) to convey farmers to their farmlands this rainy season”, Zulum said.
… Urges farmers to cooperate with soldiers
Meanwhile, Governor Zulum while addressing thousands of farmers, urged them to cooperate with soldiers, Police and other security agencies deployed to roads to protect citizens including farmers who go to the outskirts to access their farmlands.
“I want to urge you (farmers) to give maximum support and cooperation to the Nigerian Military. They (soldiers) are here to protect you”, Zulum said.
The governor expressed gratitude to the military for their sacrifices in protecting Borno’s people which is now enabling farming activities across the state.

TINUBU’S MINISTERIAL LIST
Nigeria will get it’s 10th Assembly on Tuesday, a democratic body responsible for making laws for the land. It’s expected that PBAT will present his ministerial list for screening at the NASS.
Who will make the list?
People have so much expectation with respect to who makes it to Executive Council List. The expectations are as a result the person of BAT with ability to identify and reward talent and competence. Many people including myself supported his candidacy majorly for that reason and more. Preparedness and success rate of a leader is largely dependent on his ability to assemble the best team. It’s assumed that PBAT has his team ready awaiting the NASS Inauguration. Three (3) types of people will feature in PBAT’s team;
1. Competence: Competence will play vital role in selecting team members for BAT irrespective of political background. He promised to deliver differently and specially and that needs entirely different and special approach. This set in my opinion should occupy the most critical sectors of governance.
2. Politicians: Nigerians especially my fellow young people assume old names must not feature in PBAT’s government. They term it as “recycling of politicians”. You people should calm down. There’s no way for a politician to run a government without politicians, they have their own advantage in a democratic setting. They command the vast majority of stakeholders and stakeholders determine who is who in politics. PBAT became president through democratic procedures which is decision of the majority at primary and secondary elections. These politicians we are trying to downplay were strategic in all the victories. Wether with an agreement or not. It’s not bad to negotiate power and positions in democracy in return for your support or contribution in the build up. Wether we like it or not, politicians will definitely feature. But they shouldn’t be given key roles that can have adverse effect on the governance, except the very good ones of them. Dont be surprised to see former Governor appointed as SA🥴
3. Recommendations: Some people will surely get appointed via recommendations. Perhaps due to their competence, contributions or allegiance to someone who knows someone. Someone like me now fit get Ambassador of Nigeria to Qatar🥴 because i know someone that knows someone that knows someone close to someone that knows someone that is related to someone who knows PBAT’s laundry man. So i hab hope🥹😎
All in all. I pray for PBAT to get it right and assemble team that will make Nigeria proud and give us the nation of our dream.
May PBAT succeed
May Nigeria 🇳🇬 succeed.

The Senate President will declare the seat of Senator Adamu vacant : Nasarawa West Senatorial & INEC will conduct bye election. A bye election is a waste of money , our law should be amended to allow APC to replace the Senator without going for an expensive, wasteful bye election
My dear brothers and sisters,
It’s a New Dawn. Let me begin by thanking GOD, Almighty, who made the journey possible for me to emerge as the National Youth Leader of our great party, the All Progressives Congress-APC through your support.
