I INDEPENDENTLY SEARCHED NIGERIA'S BUDGET DOCUMENTS FROM 2019 TO THE PRESENT. HERE IS WHAT I FOUND ABOUT THE PFIPC SCANDAL THAT NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT.
THE NAME DID NOT COME FROM NOWHERE
Everyone is focused on Adeyemi the man. Nobody has gone back to ask where the name "Presidential Economic Advisory Council" actually came from. I did. And the answer changes this entire story.
The Presidential Economic Advisory Council is not a Tinubu creation. Tinubu's economic body is called the Presidential Economic Coordination Council. He established it in March 2024, inaugurated it in July 2024, and chairs it himself alongside Dangote, Elumelu, the Senate President and the Governors Forum Chairman. It has a different name, a different structure and a different budget code.
The Presidential Economic Advisory Council is a creation of Buhari. Buhari established it in September 2019 to replace the Economic Management Team that Osinbajo was heading. It had real named members. Prof. Doyin Salami as chairman. Charles Soludo. Bismark Rewane. Eight economists reporting directly to the President with a defined mandate and a legal institutional identity.
When Tinubu came in and created the PECC in 2024, the Buhari-era PEAC was never formally dissolved. No gazette removing it. No Budget Office circular revoking its institutional identity. It simply went dormant. But dormant in Nigeria's government system is not the same as deleted.
That dormant status is exactly what was exploited.

If he manages to fool all the above, maybe we've got the most clueless and unintelligent people leading us.
There's no way to spin this and not make an absolute fool of yourself, it's embarrassing to even say he did this unchallenged. #GbajaGate
This man (Prince Adeniyi Matthew) created a fake government agency called Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, appointed himself as DG, secured office space at the Federal Secretariat, opened a CBN account in its name, got N1,302,978,784 allocation in 2026 budget, summoned ambassadors to meetings, held strategic sessions with ministers, and even represented Nigeria at international conferences.
The audacity is almost unbelievable. Nigeria never runs short of ‘yan iska.
This situation is quite concerning.
Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to the President, claims that the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC) does not exist within the structure of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
However, this very council is listed in the budget of the Presidency, not in some distant ministry or agency; it's allocated within the budget of the Presidency itself.
This raises two possibilities: either the Presidency is unaware of its own budget, which is meant for its own operations, or the Secretary to the Federal Government is being dishonest.
What surprises me is that the Secretary is making a definitive statement on an issue that can be easily verified. I've attached a screenshot from the Federal Budget Office, which shows what the National Assembly voted on and what the President approved.
The amount in question is N1.3 billion.
We will be closely observing how the President responds to this situation.

At 96, Clint Eastwood shattered our comfortable illusions about growing old, refusing to sugarcoat the harsh truth. He brought his trademark grit to a topic most people prefer to avoid, painting a stark, unflinching picture of what happens when a human being approaches a century of existence.
"The light hurts your eyes, and even breathing can feel like hard work," Eastwood shared. "Your body just doesn't cooperate the way it used to, and every step requires a strategy."
But the structural decline of the body is merely the surface. The real weight of extreme old age is emotional.
Once you cross into your nineties, your social landscape undergoes a profound transformation:
The people who shared your youth, your inside jokes, and your struggles have vanished.
The circle of familiar faces shrinks to almost nothing.
The phone stops ringing, and the pace of the days slows to a crawl.
When the present becomes isolated, the mind seeks refuge in the past. Eastwood explained that navigating through old memories isn't mental weakness—it's a vital search for continuity.
"You find yourself repeating stories, adding details, not to convince anyone, but just to feel like you’re still connected to something," Eastwood admitted. "You try to pass things down to the younger generation, even when you can see the boredom in their eyes."
We live in a culture that treats longevity like a trophy, while totally ignoring the crushing loneliness that accompanies that survival. We praise the shiny, the fast, and the hyper-connected, leaving no space for the slow rhythm of the very old.
Clint Eastwood may be a cinematic giant, but his words speak for every anonymous 90-year-old sitting at our family dinner tables. They are the living libraries of our history.
The wrinkles on their faces aren't just signs of aging—they are a beautiful roadmap of a life fully lived. Slow down. Put away the distractions. It is a privilege to sit by their side and just listen. 🕊️✨

PRESS RELEASE
OYO POLICE RESCUE ABDUCTED CHILDREN, ARREST FOUR KIDNAP SUSPECTS, RECOVER SOPHISTICATED FIREARMS
The Oyo State Police Command has recorded two major operational successes in its sustained efforts to combat violent crime, rescue victims, and ensure the safety and security of residents across the State.
1.Rescue of Abducted Children and Arrest of Four Suspects
On Friday, 27th June, 2026, the Command received a distress report that armed hoodlums had invaded Ebinpejo Village, via Lanlate in Ibarapa East Local Government Area, where they ransacked houses, assaulted residents, and abducted two children.
Following the report, the Commissioner of Police Oyo State Police Command CP Abimbola Ayodeji Olugbenga psc, mnips immediately directed the Divisional Police Officer, Lanlate, to mobilise operatives in collaboration with the Amotekun Corps, local vigilante groups, and hunters to commence an intensive bush-combing operation aimed at rescuing the victims and apprehending the perpetrators.
Acting on credible intelligence, supported by technical resources and coordinated field operations, the joint security team successfully traced the abductors' hideout deep within the forest. On sighting the advancing security team, the hoodlums opened fire, resulting in a gun duel. The operatives responded professionally, overpowering the criminals and forcing them to flee in different directions.
During the operation, one suspect, Umaru Usman (25), sustained gunshot wounds while attempting to escape and was apprehended. Three mobile phones were recovered at the scene.
In a follow-up operation conducted in the early hours of Saturday, 28th June, 2026, another suspect, Abdullahi Ahmed (28), was arrested. He was found to have sustained gunshot wounds believed to have been inflicted during the exchange of fire with the joint security team. He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment and remains in police custody.
Further investigations led to the arrest of Sunday Idowu (30), identified as a local collaborator who allegedly provided logistical support to the criminal syndicate. Operatives also arrested Muhammed Ibrahim Shina (29), who reportedly travelled from Ilorin, Kwara State, to participate in the abduction operation.
The four suspects are currently assisting investigators with useful information aimed at identifying and apprehending other members of the criminal network.
The two abducted children were rescued safely and promptly taken for medical attention. One of the victims sustained injuries during the ordeal but received treatment before both children were successfully reunited with their family.
Investigation is ongoing, and further developments will be communicated as they unfold.
1.Recovery of Firearms from Armed Robbery Syndicate
In a separate operation, and as a follow-up to the Command's press release of 12th June, 2026, in which four suspects were arrested and a locally made pistol recovered, operatives of the Command's Violent Crime Response Unit, acting on credible intelligence, carried out an operation on Friday, 27th June, 2026, at about 9:00 a.m.
The intelligence revealed that a wanted armed robbery kingpin, believed to be in possession of an English-made pistol, was hiding in the Ajah area of Lagos State alongside members of his criminal syndicate.
Upon sighting the operatives, the suspects fled the scene and escaped arrest. However, a comprehensive search of the hideout led to the recovery of the following exhibits:
•Two Russian-made JOJEFF double-barrel guns with serial numbers T3586 and 0217/2011;
•One Magnum pump-action rifle with serial number S&W357;
•One English-made revolver pistol; and
•Thirty-six (36) live cartridges.
Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the fleeing kingpin and other members of the criminal syndicate.
The recovery of these sophisticated firearms underscores the dangerous capability of the criminal network and demonstrates the Command's resolve to
Gbajabiamila Denies It, Budget Confirms It: Who Is Lying About Tinubu’s ₦24bn Agency?
The Gbajabiamila ₦600m question.
It's either our budget is fake, or someone is lying to Nigeria.
Prince Adeyemi says he paid ₦400m cash, owed ₦200m more, just to head a federal agency.
He says trouble started when he refused to surrender 48% of a ₦24bn take-off grant.
That’s ₦11.52bn in kickback.
Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila says the agency doesn’t exist.
Period.
Both cannot be true.
And that’s the real scandal.
If Gbajabiamila is right and the agency is fake, explain this:
First, who smuggled it into the Appropriation Act?
Budgets pass through Budget Office, NASS, and President Tinubu’s assent.
Ghosts don’t write line items.
Section 80(4) Constitution says money only leaves the treasury if the law says so.
Secondly, who told the Head of Service to approve 300 staff?
IPPIS doesn’t pay salaries to spirits. Someone loaded names, grades, and BVNs.
Thirdly, who opened CBN accounts? Section 2 CBN Act restricts CBN to banking government.
No law, no account.
If accounts exist, CBN staff broke the law.
Fourthly, why isn’t Adeyemi in DSS custody?
Section 59 Criminal Code criminalizes false alarm.
Falsely accusing the CoS of ₦600m bribery is a jailable offence.
Silence protects someone.
If Adeyemi is right and the agency exists, Gbajabiamila has bigger problems:
To start with, Section 80 Constitution is dead.
You cannot spend ₦24bn through an agency without an enabling Act.
AG Lagos v AG Federation (2003) already killed that idea.
Again, sale of office is a crime.
Section 98 Criminal Code and Section 10 ICPC Act jail public officers who demand gratification.
₦600m for appointment is state capture.
In addition, 48% kickback is criminal breach of trust.
Section 311 Penal Code.
That’s ₦11.52bn of public money already marked for theft.
What Gbajabiamila and the Presidency must produce in 48 hours:
1.The Gazette.
What law created this agency?
No law means it’s illegal.
2.The budget page.
CTC of the Appropriation Act showing the name, code, and ₦1bn and allocation.
https://t.co/8cuStnxOtJ mandate cards.
Who are the signatories to the agency accounts?
4.HoS approval letter for 300 staff and IPPIS payroll.
5.Adeyemi’s appointment letter.
Or arrest him for forgery.
Nigeria’s judiciary is weak because the executive plays with budgets like monopoly money.
When a Chief of Staff can deny an agency that has budget, staff, and bank accounts, then Section 80 of the Constitution is just suggestion.
We don’t need press statements.
We need documents or handcuffs.
If Adeyemi lied, jail him.
If he told the truth, jail whoever sold that office and demanded 48%.
Nigeria cannot survive ghost agencies and ghost denials.
One of them belongs in Kuje.
Larry Edemanya.
June 28, 2026
Have you heard what is happening inside Tinubu's Presidency?
Are you even aware that someone is publicly claiming he paid ₦600 million just to be appointed to head a federal agency?
No, this is not a movie.
According to Prince Adeyemi, he paid ₦400 million upfront and was expected to pay another ₦200 million later.
But that's not even the biggest part of the story.
He says the real trouble started when he refused to part with 48 percent of a ₦24 billion take-off grant meant for the agency he was appointed to head.
Now, before anyone jumps to conclusions, these are his allegations. The Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, has denied any connection with the agency altogether.
And that is exactly where this story becomes unbelievable.
The Chief of Staff says the agency does not exist.
Prince Adeyemi says it does.
Not only that, he says it has over ₦1 billion in the Appropriation Act, over 300 approved staff by the head of service of the federation, and even accounts with the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Now tell me...
If the agency does not exist, who inserted its budget into the Appropriation Act?
Who approved over 300 staff?
Who processed the files?
Who opened the accounts?
Or are all these claims completely fabricated?
On the other hand, if the agency truly exists, then why is the Presidency denying its existence?
Can you see why this matter cannot simply be dismissed?
Somebody is not telling Nigerians the truth.
Personally, I am less interested in the drama than in the documents.
Produce the appointment letter.
Produce the budget.
Produce the payroll.
Produce the CBN records.
Produce the evidence of the alleged payments, if they exist.
Let Nigerians see who is lying.
Because if a man can wake up one morning and falsely accuse the Chief of Staff to the President of collecting ₦600 million and demanding a share of ₦24 billion, then that is a national scandal.
And if he is telling the truth...
Then that is an even bigger national scandal.
Either way, this matter deserves much more than a press statement.
Nigerians deserve answers.
