Two days ago in the U.K. five men were arrested by armed police in an active counterterrorism operation.
They were arrested on suspicion of PREPARING A TERRORIST ACT nearby US servicemen.
The next day, ALL FIVE MEN WERE RELEASED ON BAIL.
The USA will hold its own citizens in solitary confinement for months without evidence on behalf of the U.K.
The UK will let alleged terrorists on BAIL the day after they're caught in cars full of equipment near a military base.
What is going on??
I have spent 73 days in solitary as of writing this letter.
No evidence has been shown to me or my legal team and the DOJ is asking for the "evidence" against me to be hidden from the public.
This is not American!
@OgbeniDemola Instead of pointing fingers at this people, by people I mean west. Let's look inward, there's no playbook. We just don't know who we are, despite history, by history I mean the universe-playbook, repeating itself. All the atrocities will not be possible without insiders' help.
You are human beings, I'm a human being; you want a happy life, and I want a happy life. But I think that aim will not be fulfilled only on the basis of material values; what we all want is affection and what we all need is to be more warm-hearted.
Every person has wounds, but not every person holds on to the pain. Which one are you: wounded and bitter, or wounded and free? Wounded and upset or wounded and being a blessing, being good to others, still fulfilling your purpose?
In 1978, while serving my NYSC year at Newbreed, I was part of the team behind a cover report titled “The Drift Begins.”
It challenged the direction of the then General Olusegun Obasanjo’s military government and warned that the promised political transition was losing its way.
The response was severe. Newbreed was subsequently proscribed for two years by the military government, and its editor, Chris Okolie, was detained.
I am in my 70s, but looking back at it all, the lesson I learnt from that experience remains clear; journalism cannot serve the public by making power comfortable, its ultimate duty is to ask difficult questions when the direction and actions of the government begins to concern the public.
‘God Save Me’.
That was the graffiti (pictured below) imprinted on a car by an unknown African migrant held hostage at a trafficking house in Ghut Shaal, Janzur, in north-western Libya.
In truth, only God can save any migrant who gets stuck in Libya after abandonment by heartless Libyan traffickers and kidnappers or arrest and detention by the police. But the mortal that I only am, I am determined to save as many migrants as possible from asking God to save them after embarking on an ill-advised trip to Libya.
Therefore, starting tomorrow and for the next 20 days, I’ll be on a campaign of short videos enlightening the public on why they should steer clear of Libya. These videos will be on all social media platforms, but my primary targets are Tiktok and Facebook, where traffickers often hoodwink unsuspecting youth with fake promises of a better life.
For the first 10 days, my messages will be released in English (morning) and Pidgin (evening).
The final 10 days will be made in Hausa (morning), Igbo (afternoon) and Yoruba (evening), consequently eliminating language barriers among subliterates and illiterates, who constitute the prime target groups of traffickers.
I know some will only learn by experience and will proceed to Libya regardless of advisories to the contrary, but I also know many would stay put in Nigeria if they had access to credible information.
Migrants like ‘Para’ and Samuel who told me “I wouldn’t have come if I knew I would suffer this much”, those are my targets. So help me God!
The enemy’s main goal was never just to wound you; his goal was to sideline you, to use the hurt, the disappointment, the injustice to cause you to quit living, quit dreaming, quit being a blessing.

Deepening and strengthening the life of faith within families is key to resolving many of the crises facing the Church and society. It is within families that we learn how to live together, respect others, accept diversity, support one another, be generous, give of ourselves freely, and embrace the spirit of sacrifice. Perhaps this is our main challenge: that Jesus may live fully in the families of French Catholics and illumine them with His presence. #ApostolicJourney #France
My shock when I first discovered that some people who are church favourites, have just mastered mental compartmentalization. They know how to behave for the church, and then do 'non-church' when it's time, both perfectly.
