Responding to the flood situation caused by incessant monsoon rains, troops of #SpearCorps are engaged in #HADR operations across the flood-affected areas of #Jorhat, #Sivasagar and #Charaideo, #Assam. So far, over 200 stranded civilians have been rescued and moved to safety.

Despite adverse weather conditions, the troops are carrying out day-and-night relief and rescue operations in close coordination with the Civil Administration, #NDRF and #SDRF. Helicopters, drones, specialised boats and medical teams are being employed to deliver relief, provide essential humanitarian assistance and ensure the safety of the affected population.

#EasternCommand remains steadfast in standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the people of #Assam, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to relief, rescue and humanitarian assistance.

लगातार मानसूनी वर्षा के कारण उत्पन्न बाढ़ की स्थिति के बीच, #स्पीयर_कोर के जवान #असम के #जोरहाट, #शिवसागर एवं #चराइदेव के बाढ़ प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में #HADR अभियान के तहत राहत एवं बचाव कार्यों में जुटे हैं। अब तक 200 से अधिक फँसे हुए नागरिकों को सुरक्षित स्थानों पर पहुँचाया जा चुका है।

प्रतिकूल मौसम के बावजूद सैनिक नागरिक प्रशासन, #NDRF एवं #SDRF के साथ समन्वय स्थापित करते हुए दिन-रात राहत बचाव अभियान चला रहे हैं। हेलीकॉप्टरों, ड्रोन, विशेष नावों और चिकित्सा दलों की सहायता से प्रभावित लोगों तक राहत पहुँचाई जा रही है तथा आवश्यक मानवीय सहायता प्रदान की जा रही है।

#SpearGunners under #SpearCorps conducted a comprehensive Joint Flood Relief Training Exercise with #SDRF in South #Assam to enhance operational preparedness, rescue capabilities and inter-agency coordination as part of HADR operations. The exercise included flood rescue procedures, casualty evacuation, search and rescue drills and relief operations, culminating in a joint validation phase that reinforced a coordinated and effective disaster response mechanism for flood-prone areas.

#SpearCorps के अंतर्गत #SpearGunners ने दक्षिण #Assam में HADR अभियानों के अंतर्गत #SDRF के साथ संयुक्त बाढ़ राहत प्रशिक्षण अभ्यास आयोजित किया। इस अभ्यास का उद्देश्य परिचालन तैयारियों, बचाव क्षमता एवं विभिन्न एजेंसियों के बीच समन्वय को और सुदृढ़ करना था। प्रशिक्षण में बाढ़ बचाव प्रक्रिया, हताहतों की निकासी, खोज एवं बचाव अभियान तथा राहत कार्यों का अभ्यास किया गया। संयुक्त मूल्यांकन के साथ सम्पन्न इस अभ्यास ने बाढ़ प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में प्रभावी एवं समन्वित आपदा प्रतिक्रिया तंत्र को और मजबूत किया।

GOC #SpearCorps visited #SpearGunners formation at Masimpur, #Assam to review operational preparedness and ongoing capability enhancement initiatives. He complimented all ranks for their professionalism, technology absorption and innovative spirit. During the visit, he inaugurated the E-Info Room and also visited other station units.

The GOC also paid tribute to 2/Lt Rajeev Sandhu, Mahavir Chakra (Posthumously), honouring his supreme sacrifice in service of the Nation.

GOC ने 2/Lt राजीव संधू, महावीर चक्र (मरणोपरांत) को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करते हुए राष्ट्र सेवा में उनके सर्वोच्च बलिदान को नमन किया।
