I’ve seen thousands of “D1” caliber players go D2, D3, NAIA, Juco and still go pro, still get degrees, still become successful professionals in their fields of study. Teach those around you that these labels literally mean NOTHING, it’s what you do with your opportunities. 🗣
After deep consideration, I’ve decided to close my recruitment and return to University of Hawaii at Hilo for my senior year. I’m grateful for everyone who supported me throughout this process. Thank you to my family, coaches, teammates, and the programs that believed in me.
Congratulations to 2022 @MCCScots alum 6’9 Sam Stewart on his NLPBA Championship with the Kenosha Ballers!
Sam Stewart was also a major part in helping the Scots secure a conference championship in 2022!
Happy for you Sam! Keep working! 💪🏾
@MCCScots men’s basketball team had 8 Academic All-Americans, as well as 10 academic All-Conference student athletes!
It’s been 31 YEARS since McHenry College men’s basketball team has accomplished an academic banner!
Thankful for all those involved in accomplishing this goal!
If we don’t SUPPORT our own, who will?
The Black Coaches Association proudly congratulates both NBA Finals head coaches, Mike Brown and Mitch Johnson.
History will be made as two Black head coaches meet on basketball’s biggest stage in the 2026 NBA Finals.
This opportunity has only happened a handful of times in NBA history, making this moment even more significant for the game and for the next generation of coaches who aspire to lead at the highest level.
No matter the outcome, one thing is certain:
A Black head coach will be crowned NBA Champion.
We celebrate the leadership, resilience, preparation, and excellence that both coaches have displayed throughout their journeys.
Good luck to Coach Brown and Coach Johnson.
They WIN. WE WIN. ✊🏾🏆

Don’t devalue any of those said boxes, they MATTER, and could be the difference between standing out among players at your position, and or being recruited to higher levels!
Exciting times ahead. Grateful for the opportunities so far.
