The food bill came to ₹500, but the hotel staff said we had to pay ₹700 😱😡

Today, I had to come to Lucknow for some work, and after leaving the airport, I ate at a restaurant..!!

When the bill arrived, the total amount was ₹500. However, when we went to make the payment at the counter, the staff told us that we had to pay ₹700..!!

We asked what the extra ₹200 was for, and the answer we received was that there was an additional charge of ₹200 for eating while seated..!!

The surprising part was that nowhere in the entire restaurant was there any notice, board, or information mentioning this extra charge..!!

When we objected to it, the staff started arguing with us, so we directly approached the manager and lodged a complaint..!!

The manager listened to our concern, looked into the matter, and admitted that charging an extra amount without informing customers in advance was wrong. After investigating, appropriate action was taken against the staff concerned, and they were relieved from their job...!!
