Somewhere in the distant past, I must have had a relative who lived in a cave and sketched animals on the walls using whatever was handy. My preliminary sketch for a painting of a bear looks familiar. We're genetically linked, lol.
@kyletanderson They have the freedom to reject it. "Reason" would apply if it doesn't make sense to them, or they never experienced something so profound that it makes more sense for them to believe than to reject the basic tenets of Christianity.
My wife and I have five grandkids under the age of 12 and have been babysitting three of them for years, so naturally I use whatever is handy to pass on my enjoyment of art to them. With only one exception, they do a lot on their own now. This is our youngest, at 14 months. A sixth child is due in July.
@InterstellarUAP The common denominator is the individual experiencing the world in a dream state or waking state. Either one can produce a similar response physiologically and mentally. The "portal" is to the whole self.
