Affordable and accessible child care is at the heart of @GovKathyHochul’s vision for the future of New York State.
Universal child care supports working parents and ensures kiddos, like the ones I met at Clinton Early Learning Center, receive quality care.

Our Seasonal Interns took a break from the job site for their third STEM Workshop, led by the @NYSLabor's Karleen, Leigh, and Em. Interns explored how understanding different personality styles can strengthen teamwork, communication, and leadership.
Every generation is shaped by leaders who leave the world fairer than they found it.
Lillian Roberts was one of those leaders.
She gave a voice to working people and strengthened the labor movement that built New York.
My heart is with her family and the entire DC 37 and AFSCME family. May she rest in peace.
Summer learning is fun with the New York State Literacy Trail, an initiative of @GovKathyHochul, which encourages literacy and outdoors access through books featuring relationships between children, their communities, and the outdoors. Explore more: https://t.co/TnhYYxHcZi
A thriving downtown benefits everyone. County Executive Ken Jenkins joined Governor Kathy Hochul, Mayor Mike Spano and community leaders to celebrate the announcement that Yonkers has been awarded $10 million as the Mid-Hudson Region’s winner of the ninth round of New York’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative. The DRI program provides strategic investments that help communities transform their downtowns into vibrant centers for housing, commerce and recreation. This funding will support projects that strengthen Yonkers’ downtown, attract additional investment, create economic opportunities and enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors alike.
Also recognized were the Village of Ellenville and the Hamlet of Livingston Manor, which each received $4.5 million through the NY Forward Program to advance revitalization projects in their communities. Congratulations to Governor Hochul, Mayor Spano and everyone who worked to secure this transformative investment. Westchester County looks forward to continuing its partnership with the City of Yonkers as this exciting work moves forward.
