He was the president of the holy @AdmasKodesh organization with the mission of protecting and restoring Jewish Cemeteries worldwide for many decades. His life was a testament to unwavering dedication to Torah, and the Jewish community.

Born in Vienna on November 23, 1921, Rabbi Schlesinger's journey began during a tumultuous time in Jewish history. His family’s foresight led them to Eretz Yisroel in 1931, where he absorbed the authentic Torah teachings of pre-war Yerushalayim. Under the guidance of the legendary Rav Yosef Tzvi Dushinsky zt”l, he developed an unparalleled understanding of Torah that shaped his entire life.

Throughout his life, Rabbi Schlesinger maintained relationships with Torah giants like the Brisker Rov and the Chazon Ish, and in his later years he was very close with Satmar Grand Rebbe Aron visiting each other dozens of times. His written works, including *Hador Vehatekufah* and the multi-volume *Beis Av*, will continue to inspire future generations.

A fierce advocate for Jewish education, he fought against governmental intrusion in Britain, courageously defending the sanctity of Torah education until his final days. His legacy is not just in his writings but in the thousands of students he taught and inspired.

Klal Yisroel has lost a towering figure, but we are forever enriched by his teachings, his example, and the living mesorah he leaves behind. May his memory be a blessing. Yehi zichro baruch. #RIP #RabbiSchlesinger #TorahLeadership
