An admiral's pride wasn't to be taken lightly! Naturally he wouldn't back down from a challenge. Wait, didn't this plot development seem strangely familiar?

He stammered to defend himself, clearly unprepared for the snappy retort.

He'd give her a light tease and a gentle elbow jab as they neared the front of the coaster line.

Meanwhile, he imagined Mont would be more likely to just slug the ghosts and spooks in the jaw and get kicked out of the park if they tried to scare her.

The teasing was... actually rather welcome though. It was nice to know Cleve was comfortable enough around him to play around like that.

Hopefully he wouldn't embarrass himself there like he almost had on the coaster!

He was curious what she might pick from, though it was admittedly a bit of a hard act to follow after that coaster...

@StarsAndKnights He couldn't be sure if Cleve was teasing or not as she fixed up his hair, at least bringing it from a windswept mess to 'just messy enough to pass for intentionally so'. It at least helped to make him look a bit more casual!

God, she'd never let him live this down.
