Translation:

Had to contact the warranty service because a small line appeared on the screen of a TV we bought from Damro. (Honestly, not even sure if it was there when we bought it we’re not the type to inspect stuff that carefully before buying).

First, I called the hotline, but it was busy, so I just hung up thinking, “It’s only a tiny line anyway.” Then out of nowhere, they actually called me back 😅. Didn’t expect a hotline to call back like that.

After explaining the issue, I asked whether I needed to take the TV back to the branch where I bought it, or if I could just hand it over at the nearest Damro branch. They said none of that was necessary they’d come home and pick it up themselves.

Since the kids would’ve caused absolute chaos without a TV, we had cleaned up and set up the old TV again. But then these guys came, took our TV, and left another TV of the same type for us to use in the meantime 😅😅.

No need to even mention that they repaired it and brought it back home too.

Now if they had brought some rice and kottu for the house on their way back and forth, that would’ve completed the service 😂.

Now that’s what you call a proper warranty 😇😇

@KaviSenu Another side no one tells you. Damro has trained them in ethics. We supply to Damro and unlike other companies & govt institstutions they never ask us to overinvoice the bills. On the contrary they try to get the lowest possible price for the company. They will last long.

@sajithpremadasa Business shut down since 2022 and for ROC to accept my closure they need a G.S letter, apparently he has to visit the premises to confirm and has been delaying for 1.5 years saying this and that. Im having to pay taxes on a closed business because of this single person.
