At #CSW70, Luiza (AGIP Girl Advisor, Cohort 2) took the stage at the Together to End Child Marriage event, sharing a powerful reflection on girlhood, inequality & lived realities in Brazil.
Ending child marriage means building systems that work for girls, not against them.
At #CSW70, Luiza (AGAC Cohort 2, Brazil) joined youth activists from across the globe in a powerful dialogue with Canada’s DG Barbara Curran on gender justice and youth leadership.
The message was clear: meaningful inclusion starts by creating intergenerational spaces.

Happy #InternationalWomensDay from AGIP!
Together with our members and girl advocates, we’re advancing meaningful girl engagement, girl-centered advocacy, and accessible evidence. Because when girls are given the resources, respect, and recognition the world gains!
Last week, Asimwe Sudei and Aikande Muro from our research team were in Morogoro, Tanzania, conducting qualitative data collection for the Binti Shupavu RCT study.
They joined Principal Investigators Brenda Oulo and Aubryn Sidle, along with the GLAMI team, to interview study participants, teachers, and parents from schools participating in the Binti Shupavu program and from schools that are not.
These conversations will help in understanding participants’ experiences and strengthen the evidence behind the program's impact on agency and educational outcomes.

✨✨ In 2019, AGIP began with a bold belief: adolescent girls must be at the center of global policy, evidence & investment, not the margins.
Founded by 8 members, now a coalition of 18, that vision still drives our work.
