It's like some people have forgotten that it's raining and this sand is becoming mud, we can't drive in and out of our houses? For 2days why???? Why do we have to endure this because of a politician's bid to gain votes? #thisnonesensemuststop#OccupJulorbiHouse#Elections2024
@brigittepieret1@iamabayorr Oh really this is news to me cos the loudest cry is always that of the African American. I barely hear that of the Jewish people and what I do hear of the world war is of the Africans who were forced to fight in it. You are being remembered and heard louder than you think.
@OOSucre@iamabayorr It's a bit unfair to categorise Africans as uncaring when all this was just a bid to understand why we do the things we do. Just so you know over here where I grew up all I had was my history so I don't know the white man's to even adore.
@MsB74946171 @iamabayorr I hope in all our learning we don't end up being victims of hate but a people who can overcome any adversity thrown at us. I appreciate your kind response by the way...one barely receives such when topics like these are raised.
@MsB74946171 @iamabayorr Where we learn the events where we were the victims and when we victimised our own people. We need to learn the good ,the bad and the ugly. This helps us make better decisions for our own good as black people.
@MsB74946171 @iamabayorr You are right and I apologise if I came off as insensitive to the African American. Of course our history is important it shows us who we are ,where we have come from and informs our decisions. In the spirit of learning our history I think we need to do that wholistically.
