Burton Albion have completed the signing of Kain Adom from Gateshead FC on an 18-month deal, with an option for an extra year, for an undisclosed fee.

The forward made 25 appearances, scoring 12 goals in all competitions for the National League side this season.

He becomes the Brewers first signing of the January transfer window and is eligible to play in tomorrow's FA Cup third round tie against Boreham Wood due to a change in the FA rules this season.
