moment. But she replaced it with something out.
❛ Sorry for waking you.. you didn't have to come check up on me. I could've handled it own my own; it would'nt be the first time. ❜
Amy admits under her breathe as she avoided his gaze.
A quiet huff, and dopey green hues meet his upon being lifted slightly. A bad dream. That's all it was, right?
❛ I know… I'm just... ❜
Amy knew what to say, but the words couldn't come out. Her eyes closed, and a sigh followed.
Perhaps it was obvious what she was feeling+
woke up and it just turned out to be a nightmare. But it was still possible.
It could happen if they weren't careful enough. And she dreaded that. Amy 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 the idea of it.
❛ It felt like he was here... I thought he was going to kidnap me again, but this time he was going to robotized me. ❜
A quiet mumble. That was all he was getting, because Amy wasn't ready to talk about it fully. It felt all too real, as if it actually happened before she+
Nightmares weren't her strong suit, especially if they were this intense. She's a little shaken up by it still, but Amy had gotten somewhat calmer.
That didn't excuse the slight subtle trembling, though. It'd be difficult for her to fall back to sleep easily.
An inch closer, and she was already huddled up to his side as she lifted up her gaze to watch the TV. It felt more.. safer. She felt more safer by his side. It wouldn't hurt to be a little more vulnerable.
❛ Really? That's a little unexpected+
Shifting that didn't go unnoticed but wouldn't be called out. Instead, a simple ear twitch would indicate.
Creating a space for himself next to the bunny, taking a seat within the mass of pillows and blankets; the fort made with great care to make it as cozy as possible. +
Amy knew she didn't have to wait long when he stood up, so she did tried not to worry too much because there was a bit of relief when he returned.
Cheeks tinted red slightly as she was lifted from the bed, there was no denying in the fact that she did shifted a little closer+
" Alright then, " spoken with a hum of acknowledgement.
Shadow took a moment to stand up and search for a blanket, being mindful not to take leave Amy by herself for too long, and soon returning with said blanket.
Kneeling down by her side, the hedgehog took care in wrapping +
on the way before being placed down. She looked around a little bit. Examining the pillow fort with curious eyes, before she shifted her gaze back towards him.
❛ …I didn't know you liked pillow forts. ❜
It was honestly a surprise+
Curious, green eyes looked up at Shadow. Despite her non verbal silence, Amy was listening about the idea he pitched.
After a little bit of thought, she nodded her head as to prompt a quiet "yes". It looked like the idea of a safe pillow fort seemed to catch her attention+
" I see. . . "
Silence of his own washing over, pondering on how to help her in this situation, and soon realising he's not good at comforting. . -
" . . . One thing Maria used to do with me--when I was having bad days--was to wrap me in blankets, carry me to her room and +
Amy was relived, and it made her smile. It might've brought her a hint of reassurance, but it wasn't enough to ease her anxiety. At least for now though, it was enough to make her content.
❛ I just don't hope the power goes out.. that'll be the worst thing. ❜
[ It wasn't like it was something he wasn't used to, he found himself allowing the closeness— since it seemed she was just as nervous about the weather.
He nodded, then proceeded to lock his arm around hers. ] You can stick with me 'til it passes. Shouldn't be much longer!
There was a silent shake of her head as to agree, silently letting herself scoot a little closer to Shadow, clearly shaken up.
She couldn't make out any words now, being completely non verbal.
º The sound of thunder doing nothing for the hedgehog, but clearly seeing the effect it has on Amy. º
Hmm. . .
º He takes a seat next to her º
Not a fan of thunder?
