Build colonies, not casualties. #OccupyMars
Building toward autonomy and what comes next.
I've been building this Mars habitat life support simulator as my first personal project. It's still early, but it's real now ♡ more soon.
.. name is definitely subject to change 😂
I started learning last October with freeCodeCamp, then Harvard's CS50 courses for Python, CS, and AI.
The Mars habitat system stuff has just been research, curiosity, inspiration from games, and sometimes I'll think of an idea, research it, and either it already exists or I have to figure out how to put into my code, which is really cool. ♡
I used to disappear into drawing for 16 hours straight. Now I do it with programming. Quite literally disappearing, forgetting to eat, losing track of time, building worlds and systems in my head.
I'm happy ♡
We need more people like this who enjoy life, they make beautiful for people around them and teach themselves new skills that will be so valuable in the future!
My goal is to work at a company that I'm passionate about, that's future focused and motivated by tech that moves humanity forwards. My dream companies are Tesla or xAi/SpaceX because I really believe in their missions and what theyre building for the future of tech and humanity. ♡
I know I dont have the trational background yet and being in Canada makes this a bit more complicated, but I'm still really committed to learning and contributing some day anyway. I feel really lucky to have the opportunity to really be able to take the time to learn and work on projects like this.
