Why do I insist that we all use hashtags for when we speak about Wang Wang such as #justiceforwangwang, #wangwang, #旺旺, and #AnimalProtectionLawChina instead of just writing out "Justice for Wang Wang"?

1. It keeps Wang Wang's case TRENDING on Twtter and across all social media sites that the hashtags are used because the Twitter algorithm recognises that thousands of people are posting about her at once.

2. It creates a SEARCH INDEX or DIRECTORY for Wang Wang.

If someone who knows nothing about what happened to Wang Wang goes on those hashtags, they will have months worth of posts to learn about exactly what happened to her, who the people who tortured and murdered her are, inform them of the Chinese government's pathetic response in punishing her perpetrators, and VERY IMPORTANTLY how to take action to get justice for her and pressure the Chinese government to extend animal protection laws for all animals in China such as by contacting Chinese embassies and consulates about her, learning which brands and companies to boycott in support of her, petitions to sign, information about the locations and dates of upcoming protests in her name and so many more important posts!

Please! Let's keep working together in COORDINATION!

She deserves to be spoken about and be advocated for!

Legislative and policy changes will come with consistent and insistent pressure on the Chinese legislature, especially from the OUTSIDE of China as Chinese animal activist and welfare voices are suppressed and labeled as "disrupting the public peace".
