She walked into TD Bank with a $35,412 check and a story that started falling apart almost immediately.
Police asked where she worked.
She reportedly said the check was payment from her job at a restaurant.
“What restaurant?”
She couldn’t name it.
Then came the Lyft story — except she couldn’t show the ride because someone else had supposedly ordered it for her.
The woman eventually admitted she didn’t work for the company listed on the check and had agreed to cash it for a man she had just met.
She was arrested in connection with the forged check and theft attempt.
Nearly $35,000 on the line… and the backstory couldn’t survive a few basic questions.
A mother is asking for help for her teenage son, who gets overly angry when things don’t go his way, cursing at her, fighting her and his siblings, and destroying things in the house.
