Spotted this really brown kite between burnham and Uphill, first of all thought it was the marsh harrier until it banked and I saw the forked tail.felt a bit silly thinking maybe it was a Black Kite, but there’s now one knocking about very near by. Any thoughts on the pics below?

One for the Gull fans, an absolutely belting Slender-billed Gull soaking up the Portuguese sun. Only saw this one, on its own on a salt pan that was full of water, lovely!
