@k_kuruma16B It is pretty interesting, being able to use technology that is banned from F1 makes up for a lot of it's performance too,. I think it's a combination of advancements in technologies, a market that is willing to buy the craziest of cars and a brand that doesn't have to follow...

@robertofunoat The red bull wing has a larger slot gap at all times, given that the wing has to spin and move out of the main elements way when rotating it has a larger slot gap, you can see it in other gps aswell.

@dr_obbs Are the blunt and rounded edges on the wings to avoid strong vortex structures from affecting the rest of the wings performance? Or is it most likely to do with some sort of regulation they have to pass?

@amal_shura So stop believing that teams do these things over night, it probably took them months of development too which means that they probably had thought of it over the winter break aswell, I say this a Ferrari Fan. Just know that teams work differently than you think.

@amal_shura I get your point but just because Ferrari presented it before doesn't mean they were the only ones thinking of it. It is probable that Red Bull had thought of it too but we're behind on development or we're behind on manufacturing.

@matcoch What was F1? I fully support the idea of "pure racing" but aside from highlight clips on YouTube from the best battles when was the last season without DRS and the batteries that we had "pure racing" like actual action packed racing with quality overtakes year round?

@dr_obbs Apart from the upwash could the high pressure area infront of the exhaust winglet (On the Ferrari) be creating a larger pressure differential thus supporting the backside of the winglet and aiding extraction from the diffuser center section?

@GamalLiranzo Gracias por el analisis pero aun asi Ferrari se equivoco. En ningun momento "presionaron hasta la bandera de cuadros" Ferrari no tenia la velocidad para ganar la carrera pero pudieron haber peleado el segundo lugar, talvez el resultados hubiera sido el mismo pero la diferencia...

@dr_obbs The 2017 regs brought faster cars but worse racing, the subtle changes in 2019 and 2020 to reduce dirty air didn't work, they designed an entirely new car with less dirty air for 2022 and scrapped it for having a huge wake... And now these cars that feel pieced together.

@dr_obbs I feel the FIA has no real planed course for the near future, more than just these weird driving cars, it almost feels as if everything is rushed just to keep the big boys with money happy and that's what I feel is ruining the sport.

@dr_obbs Not related to your post, but do you know what (and how) did Mercedes find to extend the edges of their rear wings as gurneys? Maybe someone answered it but if guess I missed it.
