@A_R_M_A_N_N Been awhile since i've been on Twitter but just saw this- Glad to hear you're finding FOREX great too!! I'm loving the hours haha, so hard to go back to US Markets 🤣
🟢Nice trade on GBPUSD today.
Going to start sharing my FX journey on twitter occasionally as it looks like I may have completely abandoned Equities.
As @AngelaKuzeva mentioned, price action is universal, be it FX or Equities 😃
Thanks for the share @AimanBbt and the honesty @brandopdt. Really encouraging to hear that you never gave up even on this journey. Its a tough road psychological wise and that's really still my biggest issue today even with an edge.
Whilst I agree that its imperative that each trader limits their strategy to 1 or 2 setups, I will say though that I don't think that its not necessarily wrong to jump around in your primitive years of trading (1st to 2nd year) and making sure that this is done strategically.
I think ultimately a trader needs to relate to a strategy that suits his/her personality. I knew naturally I wasn't a reversal trader and later found that my strengths lie in trends off HTF market structures, however this took awhile for me to realise this as I continued to learn more about the markets.
It does feels like a double edged sword sometimes🤣
1. You can focus on 1 strategy for 1 year and perfect it to reach consistency, or;
2. it could potentially be a waste of time if that strategy isn't where your strength lie or it goes against everything about "you".
That's the the tough part about trading, there isn't a one size fits all approach😢I think what matters is that people don't give up too soon because it does eventually get better 🙂 Kudos to you @brandopdt !!
I'm actually really liking FX. The hours are really nice for me and i've been able to read the moves pretty well. I mainly swing trade though so my positions close between 1-3 days.
Yes the moves are much wilder that's why if you're into slower paced price action, trading the 4 hour or 1 hour will still give you really really nice moves.
I realised my strengths are reading HTFs and market structure, so i'm playing to this.
