@timurkuran Yes, this is happening where I live in Silicon Valley. The “diagnosed” kids I know who get extra time on school exams are often the same kids taking the hardest course loads of honors and AP classes and starting 9th grade in Algebra 2.

@AaronGogley @chrisbrunet I can tell you… my son is a math major and got waitlisted at UCSD (never got off waitlist), He scored a 5 on his AP Calculus BC test and a Perfect 800 on his math SAT’s (although could not submit SAT scores).

However, I have a friend who chose not to vaccinate their second son after their first son was diagnosed with high functioning autism. Her second son has severe autism. Multiple factors?

@jpodhoretz Republican women that I know, are more anti-Harris than their Republican husbands. Many republican women do not feel comfortable with a person who has not raised children. Marrying someone who is co-parenting a 15 year old and a 20 year old does not count.

@ScottAdamsSays I saw this with my son in school. It was a struggle. My son was incredible at math but couldn't explain his answers. He would write "because it's the correct answer" and get marked down. My daughter is doing great in school with these changes.

@ScottAdamsSays Most K-12 teachers are female and choose books that they connect with, males typically do not connect with, for their class. Math has changed. Getting the right answer does not give you full credit. You need to write/explain why the answer is correct. Again, hurting boys.

@ScottAdamsSays It would be interesting to know the percent of unhealthy vs. healthy getting the vaccine. In my world here in the US, my obese Republican relatives didn't get the shot and my healthy/fit bay area neighbors did.

@DrJBhattacharya Hi Jay, Could you recommend a pediatrician in the area? I live in Los Gatos but will travel. My daughter is 13 and her pediatrician told me that she cannot keep us as clients if my daughter does not get vaccinated for covid. My daughter already had a mild case of covid. Thanks!

@longhornandlace @nycexpatmom I've thought about that too. My children have never had the flu shot. My 12 year old did not get the covid vaccine but my 17 year old did (due to bay area social pressure). My 17 year old had worse covid symptoms than my 12 year old. Also, flu hit 17 yr.old harder, but not bad.
