2) take someone who is trying save for a deposit.... they might be in the 30% tax bracket and lets say they made $1000 from their shares and held greater than 12 months. they would pay 30% on $500, now they pay 30% on $1000. instead of paying$150 you will pay $300. Not that fair
I don't usually post a great deal but this tax reform is so unproductive and horrible for any person that is trying to get ahead. This is not about investing in properties. Anyone buying shares are middle class are worse off with this news....
