CINNABAR NIGHTS 3.5 --- SPREAD THE NEWS!!
I'm about to steam pipe this really soon. There's still some polishing to do but it's basically done (vision was achieved) so I need everyone to play the game and try finish it so I can get some feedback before the launch!
For exemple : I spent months creating this ultra-cringe battle system where you can basically "parry" every hits. The rift between the character's stats and the player's skills couldn't never be truly filled so I ended up ditching it. E33 proved me it was the right decision.
⚔️Quick rundown of the battles ⚔️
It's a turn-based system with a bit of rhythms.
The player must enter the right input at the right timing in order to dodge / parry and keep attacking. A successful combo or a perfectly timed parry will break the opp's guard.
Cinnabar Nights is my first game it's a bit messed up. When I started it I was struggling with lot of mental issues. By the time I figured out what I needed to do I was already in a burn-out. Anyway I'm still happy with it but keep in mind it's a small, experimental solo-project.
