@allan_cheapshot That was my first time seeing Ilja and I was convinced he'd make it to WWE based on his charisma. He still has so much untapped potential despite some good runs between NXT and his US title run.
My point is this: Democrats have decried Trump. And insisted we need to believe the women accusing him of abhorrent behavior.
Which I agree with!
So why then is it ok for Democrats to savage Lyndsey Fifield and her allegations against Platner?
No one, not even Platner, is denying they had a relationship.
We are being told we shouldn't believe her because she is trying to "destroy" Platner for political purposes.
Which is, of course, exactly what Trump and his MAGA allies said about the women who came forward in advance of the 2016 election.
@matthewstoller It's still June and it is unlikely the dirt on Platner well is dry. It would be incredibly stupid to use it all five months before the general election.
@trouble_man90 Also, for the past decade, the far left/Sanderstologists HAVEN'T held up their end of the deal, so it's rich to expect the liberal/normie Dems to reciprocate what they never gave in the first place.
@Beezzzzy If you ever engaged with any form of tribal fandoms, be it movies, music or other arts, folks believe that it is not only important to support their favorites, but to shit on those they don't like/like less. It makes more sense in sports where this legitimate competition.
@JDCocchiarella This imaginary "establishment" isn't smearing him. If you mean senate leadership, they are all literally defending him (much to their likely folly).
CNN's @KFile reports on evidence that undercuts Senate candidate Graham Platner's claim that he only learned of his tattoo's Nazi associations last year.
A woman who previously spoke to CNN anonymously is now going public, saying Platner referred to the image as "my Totenkopf" years before the controversy.
She also provided CNN text messages showing that months before Platner says he learned the symbol's Nazi meaning, she was discussing among her friends.
I am not sure if this @nytimes story knocks Graham Platner out of the race.
But, MAN, are Democrats taking a *massive *risk if they nominate him on Tuesday.
Maine is a have-to-have state for a Democratic Senate majority....and Platner is a TOTAL wildcard.
