We're still looking for more adults who were born with a cleft to join @kennyardouin for our Northern portion of the Adult Services Roadshow next week! Add your voice to the future of services for adults who were born with a cleft. https://t.co/2NAjz9CfeA
This month's blog post has been over 18 months in the making and is one I've been asked to write about for a long time! It's about my experiences of rhinoplasty surgery - including when they gave me cocaine to snort off a tampon. https://t.co/GeyG9jtD0T
Newcastle on Monday, Liverpool on Tuesday, and Bradford on Thursday - a busy week ahead for @kennyardouin in the Northern stretch of the Adult Services Roadshow. If you'd like to join the discussion and meet like-minded people, we'd love to see you there! https://t.co/2NAjz9CfeA

Thanks to all who attended the Roadshow @CUH_NHS in Cambridge today - fantastic to meet everyone and hear people’s stories, experiences and ideas. Thank you also to @Nankyd, @astrid_ghap and Saff from @AdultVoices for a productive AVC meeting afterwards! Tiring but brilliant day!
Today, we'd like to end our series of Awareness Week stories by hearing from Jenny, a long-time CLAPA fundraiser who has kindly shared her story with us. #CleftAware https://t.co/AlS428c0Vt
Hope everyone's enjoyed our #MyCleftStory series this week! Thanks for sharing & helping everyone in the UK understand the impact of cleft & the difference the right support makes to the 90,000 people living with a cleft in the UK today. https://t.co/T7jJcEGTNU
#DidYouKnow in a 2014 CLAPA survey, 34% of adults w/ a speech issue indicated they wanted further treatment for their speech, but 65% of these did not know how to access it? Adults born w/ a cleft are entitled to NHS treatment for issues caused by cleft at any age. #CleftAware
A great way to get more #CleftAware is by reading adult's stories about living w/ a cleft. With approx. 72,000 people over the age of 18 living in the UK who were born w/ a cleft, it is so important that support is available for people beyond age 18. https://t.co/CnIiBgbUbu
Thanks to our friends at Four Acre Trust, you have the chance to make double the difference! Single donations of £500 or over made between now and September could be doubled by the Four Acre Trust up to a grand total of £20,000. Could your company help? https://t.co/gAvzZsow6p
If you like shopping, and do a lot of @AmazonUK purchases, why not support while you shop and set @CLAPACOMMUNITY as the #charity of choice at https://t.co/IrOVkL2a7x
People born with clefts have a unique and amazing life. From struggles making us stronger, to the people we become. Why not tell us your story in a tweet? - #challenge@Clapacommunity What is your #CleftStory?
Welcome to Awareness Week 2018! Public ignorance about cleft is a challenge for so many in our community. Is there something you wish more people knew about being born with a cleft? What helps you deal with the challenges (and what doesn't)? https://t.co/U0jeGWwDrY
100 babies are born with a cleft each month in the UK. May 5th-13th is your chance to get #CleftAware - join our 2018 #ThunderClap campaign to help spread the word https://t.co/dhPbTInXR9
