Hi, I’m Adunni, a Virtual Assistant specialising in Content & Communications Management.
I support founders and small businesses with the content, communications and organisational work happening behind the scenes.
Basically, I help turn “I need to get this done” into done.
Your inbox is not your task list.
Before something reaches an executive, ask:
Can I handle it?
Does it need their attention?
Does it need a follow-up?
Who owns the next step?
The goal isn’t an empty inbox, the goal is clarity.
@Uche_Gloriaa Honestly this is so true. The day I decided to move like this, it felt like I had plenty clothing. I still keep buying basic tops at any chance I get. Especially at Yaba market, you’ll get them cheaper both tops and baggy jeans for cheap prices
I started my LinkedIn from scratch about four weeks ago and honestly had no idea how I was going to build it.
I just kept connecting, sharing and showing up.
And now we’re at 102. 🥹
It may be a small number, but it means a lot to me, I also met some amazing people!
A good system should make the work easier to pick back up.
When you return to a task days later, you should be able to see what’s done, what’s pending and what comes next without reconstructing everything from scratch.
Good systems create continuity.
A good Executive Assistant doesn’t just take tasks off your to-do list. They take things off your mind.
Fewer loose ends.
Fewer things to remember.
More room for the work only you can do.
That’s what good support should create: relief.
A dream can give you the direction, but consistent action is what gets you there.
A vision board isn’t a plan. Ideas aren’t a business.
At some point, you have to start doing the work, even when you don’t feel like it.
That’s where the dream becomes real.
A good Executive Assistant should be the calm in the chaos.
Meetings, follow-ups, deadlines, emails, content, details.
Good support brings structure to the moving pieces and gives the executive something valuable back which is: mental space.
As a VA, I believe good support should make a client’s life lighter.
If they’re constantly explaining, following up and correcting, the work hasn’t really left their plate.
Good support should require less supervision over time.
A good VA should make things feel lighter, not simply take instructions.
Good support means understanding the moving pieces, organizing them, communicating clearly and keeping things progressing without the client having to hold every detail in their head.
A newsletter project reminded me what content & comms mgt really looks like. I wrote the copy, built the template, organized the content, applied the branding, added imagery and tested the email. It’s the details that turn information into communication that’s ready to be seen.
“I just do everything without thinking about it.”
A client told me this after I asked for a brain dump of her workload. I turned that brain dump into a clear Trello system for her content, routines, newsletters, social media and recurring tasks. Making the visible work invisible
What does a Virtual Assistant actually do?
A lot more than “answer emails and manage calendars.”
A VA can support with:
AdminCalendar & email management
Content
Communication
Research
Project coordination
Social media
Workflow organization
No two VA roles are exactly the same
