@SfAAnthro Long story short, Eric and the team completed research testing the reliability & functionality of the PODv1 (the research we shared last month @The_AAFS). This brought about advancements in the design, functionality, & operation of the PODv1 and the development of ARCTECH.

He currently works as an archaeologist with Cultural Surveys Hawaii on Oahu, Hawaii.

Eric’s motivation is to make ARCTECH a space for the forensic, anthropology, and archaeology communities to obtain a reliable osteometric device to make their research faster and easier.

We want to continue to share more about our team, so, meet Eric Anderson, the inventor of the Portable Osteometric Device (P.O.D.) and the CEO of ARCTECH.

Eric is a USMC veteran who found a passion for bioarchaeology while at the University of South Alabama that drove him to obtain his master's at Mississippi State University. He has conducted archaeological work in Europe, Mexico, and the U.S.
