In an unprecedented move, the Hon’ble Court directed Shikhar Dhawan’s ex-wife to return 5.7 Crores given by Shikhar Dhawan as the settlement was executed under threat, extortion, trickery & fraudulent action by his ex-wife.

People think Lawyers drag cases, they don’t! They are just doing their jobs. It’s mainly the legislation which gives such Companies or any individual the power to file an Appeal & if they again lose in State Commission > Appeal to National Commission, if failed again then..

What’s the point?

They / Maruti Co.. will file an Appeal & simultaneously deposit 100% of the ₹20.5L amount in State Commission Forum / Court. They would rather battle & drain a consumer in legal battle than settle a matter.

@timesofindia What justice? 13-yrs? Builder will again Appeal in higher forum / Court even if a Court / Forum passes a 100-page reasoned order as the laws have given power to the offenders who can blindly get away with gross leeways. Does it even minutely look like a chest-thumping justice?

A husband lost his life after being stabbed in the neck during a matrimonial dispute at his wife’s parental house, suffering fatal internal injuries that damaged his lungs, ribs, and blood vessels.

While the Telangana High Court upheld the wife’s conviction for causing his death, the Court ultimately reduced her 4-year imprisonment sentence to only a ₹500 fine after treating the incident as a “spur of the moment” act during a sudden quarrel.

The case has raised serious concerns over how male victims of domestic violence and matrimonial conflicts are often left without meaningful justice even after losing their lives.

Former software engineer at Apple is whistleblowing

She says whenever Apple launches a new phone, they would push an update to older iPhones with malware to slow them down. This pushes people to upgrade

“I used to be a software engineer at Apple, and with every new phone that was released, malware was installed on the older phones to make you have to update, so your phone's not just glitching. It's doing that on purpose. Share before it's deleted”

She’s telling the truth, this was proven in court

The 2017 “Batterygate” scandal, where Apple was caught deliberately slowing down older iPhones through software updates

Apple was caught red handed doing this they even admitted it in court

Apple released iOS updates that intentionally throttled and reduced CPU performance. This caused phones to feel slower, glitchy and laggy

Apple’s stated reason: To prevent unexpected shutdowns caused by aging lithium-ion batteries

Supreme Court hears a matrimonial case:

Husband: I don’t want a divorce.

Court: divorce is filed by wife? On what grounds?

Husband: cruelty and desertion.

Court: false charge of adultery, you could not prove, that itself is ground for divorce. Wife is not asking for alimony?

Husband: no

Court: you should be happy. Are you a software engineer?

Husband: now I am a freelancer.

Court: everyone becomes unemployed after divorce proceedings are filed. Wife says she has resigned, husband will say he has given up his job, he has been thrown out on the complaint of the wife, something or the other. Now you have become freelancer.

Court: did you prove adultery against her?

Husband: no.

Wife: I have solemnised a second marriage after divorce was granted by trial court and upheld by high court.

Husband: please hear me for a moment.

Court: pay 50 lakhs (to wife) [as permanent alimony]

Husband: that is not even her demand.

Court: no, we are saying that.

Husband: may I make one more submission. We can explore custody of child through mediation.

Court: dismissed.
