I think time has come for @PMOIndia, @ianuragthakur ji to take up big structural reforms in Sports for improvement of India's performance.
We need to establish National Sports University in Delhi NCR & then establish branches in every state on the lines of AIIMS, IIT & IIM.

Need 362 for constitutional amendments
Now NDA has 312
During Delimitation bill, it had 298 votes
So 312 + 6 = 318 as of now
Need 44 more
During last Delimitation vote, only 528 voted
Assuming same vote, need 352 votes
That still leaves 34 short
With DMK and others, assume 30 more walk out
That takes 498 votes... For constitutional amendments, need 333 votes
Still 15 short
So only way for any of these bills to pass is either a DMK votes with NDA or huge chunk of non INC parties walkout
Problem is SP having 37 MP seats and elections are close... So SP will vote against
So that many people walking out not possible
Only realistic way to pass bills is DMK actively voting in favour and some others walking out... Both have to happen together

The Government of India has proposed to develop five cities in the northern districts of Bengal as Himalayan Hill cities. The five cities identified are Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Kurseong, Mirik and Siliguri. These cities will receive major infrastructure upgrades, including improvements to roads, traffic management and connectivity. Special financial packages are also being planned to transform them into modern, tourist-friendly urban centres.
A waste treatment plant would be established at the existing dumping site in Darjeeling within six months to address the large volumes of legacy waste. From July 1, penalties will be imposed on anyone found littering, dumping garbage or defecating in the open in Darjeeling. A special task force will tackle human trafficking, child abuse and teenage pregnancy in the region.

The upcoming Mumbai-Pune-Hyderabad High Speed Rail Corridor will have the following stations:
โช๏ธNavi Mumbai
โช๏ธLonavala
โช๏ธPimpri-Chinchwad
โช๏ธPune (Loni)
โช๏ธBaramati
โช๏ธPandharpur
โช๏ธSolapur
โช๏ธKalaburagi
โช๏ธVikarabad
โช๏ธHyderabad
As mentioned above, the Pune high speed rail station will be located at Loni, exactly where the bullet train alignment crosses the Pune-Solapur National Highway.
However, metro connectivity to Loni Kalbhor has already been approved by Maharashtra Government (pending Central Government approval), and this will be ready by the time the Mumbai-Pune-Hyderabad High Speed Rail gets going. So reaching the bullet train station from Pune City won't be difficult.

Titagarh Rail Systems will manufacture aluminium railway coaches entirely in India by FY27. The company is setting up an aluminium coach facility in Uttarpara with capacity for 300 coaches annually. India currently imports key aluminium coach technologies, while aluminium coaches can weigh 20โ30% less than conventional steel coaches and offer lower lifecycle costs.

Why is Pakistan cleaning up PoJK now?
Why is it important? Connected events.
1. The moment US steps up in Tibet, there'd be HUGE backlash from India, Nepal & China. (Don't ask me why!)
2. Pahalgam went wrong due to disproportionate action on Kinara.
3. No trade deal with Trump regime yet.
4. Sergio is trying his best to divert GoI's attention.
5. US wants to pull India into its sphere of influence, when it comes to energy, so that it can "throttle" India's growth. Something they failed to do with China. Hence, Venezuela.
6. Marco was accorded coldest welcome. First sign of India's "NO" to US plans in PoJK.
7. China's sudden thaw with India, is calculated one.
8. Pakistan is doing cleanup operation for US to setup base in PoJK / GB with Tibet in mind.
9. HH Dalai Lama moved to Delhi and then, he has plans to go to Ladakh for extended vacation.
10. With some in #CTA #Tibet already getting closer to US, after new CTA last week, US thinks (for whatever reason!) it could enter Tibet via Nepal.
I've said this before. But, saying it again.
The moment US puts boots on ground in Kashmir, something catastrophic would happen, for US.
Either a sleeping elephant will wake up. Or, a dead man will start walking.
As per Defence Ministry Sources on the Great Nicobar Islands development project- "For holistic development of the Great Nicobar Islands, four interlinked projects have been envisaged - International Container Transhipment Port (ICTP), Joint user Greenfield airfield and Naval Air Station, Township and Power plant. The Total cost of four projects is Rs 81,000 crore. The ICTP - PPPAC appraisal has been done, and the DCN has been submitted by MoPSW to MoF. Township - EFC meeting conducted last week. Criticism that it is a commercial project being disguised as a strategic project is based on geographical illiteracy. Strategies are just military interests, but overall development. The aim of the project is to develop a long-term and sustainable presence on the islands, considering their geographical location."

Best part as a French I could lay down conditions like
1. You can assemble engine and call it MahaShakti
2. Buy more Rafale F4 and later we can upgrade it with tech from FCAS (essentially making Rafale F4 as Sukhoi of next decade where super Sukhoi remains on paper forever (F5).

Indian Air Force will provide logistical support for the NEET re-test, with aircraft tasked to transport question paper packets to 18 locations across the country. - Indian Defence Ministry Officials
As per Defence Ministry Sources, "the Request for Proposal (RFP) for Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) was issued about 10 days ago. It has a time of 60 days. The responses should come by the end of July. After that, the rest of the process will be done. GE-414 Engines for AMCA prototype: Technical negotiations have been completed. Commercial negotiations are going on. HAL is negotiating. The focus is to move AMCA forward. That is our fifth-generation choice."
As per Defence Ministry Sources, "Raksha Mantri reviewed the LCA project today. Self-reliance means that you are starting from scratch in some area. So, many things have been completed in that. Some things have not yet been done fully to the satisfaction of the Air Force. So, when that is done, later this year, hopefully, those shortcomings will be fulfilled. There are 6 LCA Mk1A aircraft with the engines that are ready. 18-24 LCA Mk1A aircraft are expected to be ready by the end of the year, if HAL is able to make up for some of those shortfalls (ASQR). Due to the delay, there could be penalties that will be applied. HAL has been asked to complete the commitments and meet the timelines."
