Amber Watch from Oban recently attended the water safety spring meeting in the town. This was organised by @AdventureOban, partnered by @ObanRNLI and Oban Sailing Club, and offered local guidance and advice regarding safe and sensible approaches to our local waterways.

Way back at the start of the year, one of the first things Adventure Oban got stuck into was leading a volunteer rota to keep the Ganavan toilets open throughout the winter.

We got soaked, we got muddy - but we got our hoover! Today’s One Million Miles Beach Clean managed to pick up some biggies that had become part of the scenery - tyres, traffic cones and even a hoover! Thanks to those that came out and @argyllandbute for picking up the waste!

Earlier in the summer, Faraid Winterton took home the @Argyll_ButeTSI award for Young Sports Leader of the Year. Faraid was nominated for her enthusiastic commitment to our #onemillionmiles project, inspiring schools across the area to get involved. Well done Faraid!
