@AdviceByThSlice Good stuff as always. Venue is a way to go too. But you really have to get lucky because a "good fit" artist with out an opener might only come through 1-2 times a year.

@AdviceByThSlice Right! I stuck out via artist to agent attempts to find a good match, so I went the venue root. I was lucky enough to start with a large venue and get a good match. The act liked me enough to invite me on other tour dates. So don't give up :)
