1999 Miyamoto interview talking about development of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Has many interesting tid-bits I hadn't heard before!
For example, can you imagine using Megaton Hammer to free Chain Chomps in Gerudo Fortress?

@CSW_Hoosier When I joined Twitter in 2021, I was of a similar "Reformed Protestant" position as Lizzie, and even followed her account. Now Im Catholic, so I can only imagine how I didnt "investigate Biblical history" according to her standard. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
The people act like these games can't exist on their own merits. Like you need 80 different modes and options to justify their existence on modern platforms. It's such a strange way to view rereleases.
@Claytoncyre As unsustainable as AAA budgets have gotten, I feel like we need to look back to the retro/arcade & indies for ideas how to keep people playing without 100+ hour drip-feed of content.
Maybe we need that risk vs reward intensity only possible when theres a Game Over screen! ๐

@kryfton@HitmanGFX44 Oooh my bad! Yeah, same here, the Security Door made little sense playing NES version first, since they didnt bother tying a code or key to such a huge door. Lol
