So let me get this straight…
In the UK you can go on a rampage at an Airport of all places, break a Women Police Officers Nose, punch a load of Police out and not be found guilty of any crime.
But only if you’re a Muslim?
Got it 👍
I had to look up the details of the case, and it's absolutely crazy that, based solely on Digwa's unverified verbal claims, the police handcuffed and arrested Nowak - the one who was visibly injured, bleeding out, and in need of immediate medical aid.
To add to the craziness of it, without having any proof Digwa's claims were true, the police let him leave and didn't even handcuff and arrest him too - a person who'd just stabbed someone.

🇺🇸 Fabiano Caruana on 🇫🇷 Alireza Firouzja’s withdrawal and playing him in a hotel room:
“It was a very, very weird experience, of course. To actually play in the hotel room, at the start it didn’t feel like we were playing. I thought we were playing some casual chess.
It had kind of vibes of a World Championship match, except my opponent was on the bed, in a cast.
It’s just very bad luck for him. He just fell and messed his ankle up, and he decided to play on for a few games.
I feel sorry for Alireza that he can’t continue the tournament. It’s just unfortunate.”
@ShabanaMahmood muslims like you are a threat to national security.
More muslims = more stabbings
More muslims = more rapes
More muslims = more terrorist attacks
More muslims = more bombs
Nobody is safe while there are muslims around
@kate_mrgn@EndgameaiChess I suppose people might have soft spot for travel fees with the world youth championships, because that's a once in a lifetime opportunity, and not everyone has $3000 to gamble getting there. But I think chess training never should be subsidised because the best methods isntpublic
@elonmusk This never stops being relevant when talking about criminal justice "reform" in blue states. I still haven't forgiven Democrats for this bait and switch.
@elonmusk Does Mamdani @ZohranKMamdani has time 4 #NewYorkers ? No. See here, NYPD Police is busy recruiting Hijabons in the Force. Where is time 4 them to go after criminals?

@kate_mrgn@EndgameaiChess Abhimanyu Mishra (USA), Andy Woodward (USA), +2 more if you include women category. It's funny how ultra wealthy people who never worked a day complain about lack of government assistance for randoms.
Playing on an iPad and still winning is an impressive dominance flex!
But two things caught my attention:
1. Carlsen seems to be avoiding Chesscom events. He skipped TT events, and he didn't plan on playing in Chesscom open until the last few days. Nakamura recently said he expected Carlsen wouldn't play TT anymore.
2. Chesscom requires all players to use their proctor software for official events. As far as I know, there's no iPad version. Unless they built one for Carlsen in a few days, it means he played without it. Rules aren't the same for everyone.
@Anthony84463079@EndgameaiChess they can run their own event, its a free world. theyre just lazy, and by his own words, alireza is lazy. They're chasing money with the least amount of work
@EndgameaiChess wow once you read the last bit, he's basically complaining that he can't just do one big money tournament in a year. "market value". He's upset over big prizes? Bad take by him, he can run his own tournament and see who shows up if he think there's a problem needing solving.
@Dontwurbowdit@JohnnyAGI@nicksortor Rome only conquered Macedon because they applied a tiny bit of pressure which is far better odds than inaction. Vibe checking is common sense and they're doing very well with this
