@dqrivalsart Fastforward to today and and the effort to maintain that promise is abysmally poor on S-E's end. No save data support and no upgrade path for owners of the switch version. Game is not on the cartridge in the switch 2 version.

@Ruleof2Review It was one of their weakest State of Play showings in recent times. Mostly a retread of games that were already announced and shown at previous state of plays. A delay for Phantom Blade 0. Some good announcements. Wolverine and GoW should've have more succinct showings.

@danielm0nt @Trolldadx If the studio changes focus to another IP after the poor performance of this game that people at large didn't want then yes a Kratos sequel is being taken away from the base. It's not the first time this has happened with a Sony in house studio and it won't be the last.

@DrClownPhD Reminder that Sony rented out theatres for live viewings of this state of play so now Sony have footage that they can use to push the narrative that people do want this type of game.
