@ozzerrozzer If the bar soap and lotion are doing enough and not irritating your skin don't change it. This spf is a lightweight lotion without a white cast, and it's water resistant. My favorite starter retinoid is this one from Naturium.
@ezekiel_morgan @christ621ml Katara was washing her, I'm pretty sure that when the comics showed Azula created her near instant cast lightning it was specifically bc she realized how easy katara could just take her out
@tippyandtiffany We can agree to want a more thorough study but there is some evidence there to consider it as part of a treatment plan. This is also only one of the peptides in the product. Full regrowth would lean into drug claims also which goes back to my analogy to retinol/tretinoin.
@tippyandtiffany Of course first line of defense should be treatment from a provider with a more evidence based approach, but we can't deny certain ingredients like this could be promising and have much less side effects.
@tippyandtiffany Depends heavily on the peptide since companies are engineering new ones that work differently. Manufacturer funded study so we have to admit there is bias, but if it's true then this peptide would be able to combat the same pathway that prescriptions like Finasteride do.
@tippyandtiffany I don’t recall saying they’re the same, just that the fdas classification for topicals to treat certain concerns is at best messy and inconsistent.
@tippyandtiffany Companies cannot legally claim these things because they are drug claims, but we see them do it all the time. Here’s more of an explanation of one of the peptides in the cecred drops that’s likey giving the results https://t.co/ipMsJhAjsE
@tippyandtiffany It’s a gray area for the FDA’s classification to be fair. A great example is Tretinoin and Retinol. Tretinoin is prescription only while retinol is an otc cosmetic to the FDA, despite there being studies that retinol reaches the same active form and gives similar benefits.
@SkinCareBully Honestly we just need to rewrite the narrative. Tell them they’re making super bugs on their own body that antibiotics won’t kill and that makes them dirty. 🤦♂️
@SkinCareBully I went to their comments and asked him to apply a full 1/4 tsp on his face with his method since he’s so confident 😒 he could’ve just kept his damn mouth shut
