⚓️ ROADMAP TO H2: Hydrogen requires a 48V core. I drive trucks to fund the hull. Back the 48V open-source R&D manifesto: https://t.co/aWVzNozgN7 #H2#OffGrid
⛵️ After realizing classic yachts can't handle serious 48V + H₂ systems, I switched to heavy-displacement hulls: Westerly Centaur, LM 27 & Colvic Watson. Why? They are the only ones that work as real "Sea Tractors".
📄 New technical article:

3️⃣ COLVIC WATSON (26-31ft) The Heavy Lifter. Extreme displacement. This hull can carry 1 to 2 tons of Sodium-ion batteries as low-center ballast without losing its rough-weather stability.

⚠️ STRATEGY PIVOT: We are abandoning fragile "classic" yachts. You can't build a massive 48V/Hydrogen architecture on a weak foundation. We need a "Tractor of the Sea"—heavy, wide, and brutal.
Here are the 3 target hulls for Phase 1 of The Ark Project: 🧵👇
2️⃣ LM 27 (Denmark) The Hybrid Lab. A robust double-ender motor-sailer. The high, flat roof over the wheelhouse is a ready-made platform for ~800W of solar panels. Crucially, it has massive interior volume to safely house heavy LFP battery banks. ⚡️🛠️
⚡️ I build the 48V/Solar core first. Once autonomous, we integrate H2 fuel cells. My labor will fund the physical boat. I need the community to back the 48V R&D. Read the open-source manifesto here: https://t.co/9fymFWEzvG #OffGrid#Engineering#Hydrogen
⚓️ THE AEQUANT ROADMAP: Many say Hydrogen (H2) on a budget boat is impossible. They are right, if you rely on a fragile 12V system. We need a new architecture to bypass the housing and energy crisis. 🧵👇
🚛 I am starting from zero, grinding through Spanish exams to get my heavy truck (C+E/CAP) licenses. My future 70-hour shifts will fund Phase 1: Engineering a bulletproof 48V Off-Grid foundation on a heavy hull (Colvic/LM27). No diesel dependence.
