Yesterday I wrote down all of the challenges President @NelsonRussellM issued in Conference last month. There are quite a few and I plan on following up on all of them.
One of the first ones was to prayerfully remove “debris” from my life in order to increase my worthiness. 1/
If would be a downright shame if this guy doesn’t get the Republican nomination.
We should expect this type of honesty and intelligence in all of our candidates!

@jeffcivillico emceed and entertained at our annual Connections conference in Las Vegas earlier this week, and did a MAGNIFICENT job. Can't say enough good about his presentation and ability! Highly recommended!
@ReggieStein2 @RelevantQuest They had the Law as contained in the Brass plates, which was passed down from generation to generation. Not sure why you would expect them to transcribe the entire book of Deuteronomy into their own writings.
Haven’t been on Twitter in months, but wanted to hop on and say how amazing Dune is!
Stunning visuals and music, and a wonderful adaptation. It was a great experience all around. Very excited for Part 2!
@inthebarberry@ChaviKar I don’t have a COVID vaccine, no. Personally, I’m waiting for the Novavax vaccine. And if people feel like they should get vaccinated, go ahead, especially if they’re high risk. But shaming and potentially forcing people into health choices while obscuring important facts? No.
@inthebarberry@ChaviKar To be clear, I'm not anti-vaccine. I have vaccinations. Lots of them. I'm hesitant about emergency authorization vaccines, especially when other critical health-related, life-saving information is being swept under the proverbial carpet. We should all be concerned.
@inthebarberry@ChaviKar If we had cracked down on the obesity epidemic (as a society), yes, COVID would have been and would be a much less impactful because hospitalizations and death rates would have plummeted. This needs to be addressed, but is being side-stepped in order to push vaccines, instead.
@inthebarberry@ChaviKar Sure. Uncontrollable (or very difficult to control) obesity exists. But you’re sidestepping the point. It exists in relatively few of us. The rest of us are not off the hook. And yet there’s no mention of that. Why? Is it too sensitive a topic? For a doctor I would hope not.
@elaine_hali@ChaviKar The opinion piece is well written, and I applaud her concessions and many of her points. But when she leaves out one of the most obvious controllable factors, I doubt her motives.
@elaine_hali@ChaviKar That’s a broad brush your painting with.
I don’t think grouping all the unvaccinated into “doctor screaming”, “spitting”, and “indifferent” categories is appropriate, and is just another way to try and dehumanize those with whom you may disagree.
@ChaviKar Is not obesity one of, if not the single greatest comorbidity that affects hospitalizations and death? And yet its mention is so often swept under the rug in favor of shaming otherwise healthy people into getting 'emergency authorization' vaccinations.
@ChaviKar I've been off Twitter for some time now, but had to login to respond to a glaring omission in this piece:
While the unvaccinated are "irresponsibly" exercising their choice to remain so, you fail to mention the dramatic effects of the choice of obesity and COVID on your fatigue.
@DezNatKingCole @NelsonRussellM - Keep your temple covenants and blessings foremost in your mind and heart.
- Stay true to the covenants you have made.
- Do all you can to bring down COVID #'s in your area so that your temple opportunities can increase.
