Darnay is called 'the poor prisoner' (p.254;ch.24) at the last sentence of the chapter. Is this hinting to what will happen in Paris?

[Aeriel @AerielSun]

Darnay's leaving Lucie worries me, it seems like something bad will happen to him when he goes back to the village. (p.245;ch.24)

[Aeriel @AerielSun]

@juliel2018 @macyh2018 I agree. What Defarge and Jacques were looking for they couldn't find, but it had something to do with Dr. Manette.

[Aeriel @AerielSun]

I wonder how this friendship could go between Carton and Darnay...#lovetriangle? "'I wish that we might be friends.'" (ch.20;214)

[Aeriel @AerielSun]

Dr. Manette goes into a shock when he is without Lucie's company. When she left Manette had a "the old scared lost look" (ch.18;201)

[Aeriel @AerielSun]

@krhodes2018 L is asking the M about his relapse in a discreet way. the doctor gives an explanation to his relapse not knowing its about him

[Aeriel @AerielSun]

Madame Defarge's creepy knitting obsession has a mission "'Knitted, in her own stitches.'" (ch. 15;179) is a decipher. #methodtohermadness

[Aeriel @AerielSun]

Cruncher is such an "'honest tradesmen'" (ch.14;169) , he 'fishes' up dead bodies for a living. #fishingisanhonestsport

[Aeriel @AerielSun]

Stryver's gossip of Lucie, calling her, "'empty-headed'" (154;ch10) at the end of ch.9 shows his true disrespectful, and selfish character.

[Aeriel @AerielSun]

Is Stryver's final talk with Sydney lead him to confront Lucie about feelings and depression? "'I shall sink lower, and worse.'" (156;ch.10)

[Aeriel @AerielSun]

I feel like Charles' deep love for Lucie will not be returned from her. "...I can make no guess the state of her heart." (140;ch.10)

[Aeriel @AerielSun]

I have never shipped Charlcie more. "He had loved Lucie Manette from the hour of his danger." (135;ch10) #CharlesandLucie#Charlsie

[Aeriel @AerielSun]

Tell me have you seeen the marvelous breadfish?
#breadfishstrikesback

[Aeriel @AerielSun]

Lucie and Dr. Manette's emotional meeting is so touching and deep. Such raw desperation in the words "'weep for it, weep for it!'" (48;ch.6)

[Aeriel @AerielSun]

"'I hope you care to be recalled to life?' And the old answer: 'I can't say'" (53;ch. 6) #resurrection may not be as fulfilling as it seems.

[Aeriel @AerielSun]

@juliel2018 I think the red haired women is Lucie's "bodyguard", or baby-sitter in a sense. She looks after her, as a chaperone.

[Aeriel @AerielSun]

"'Business! You have business before you; useful business.'"(27;ch.4) Odd way for Mr. Lorry to look at the lady's fathers resurrection.

[Aeriel @AerielSun]

What is the significance of the passengers in the coach?

[Aeriel @AerielSun]

The passenger's dream interpreting the phrase "Recalled to life" is haunting. It seems like his dream is foreshadowing. (17-19; ch. 3)
