@GooseworxMusic@GooseworxMusic I know you’ve been getting a shit ton of hate recently, esp for the finale, and I just wanna say I loved it and I’m a tough critic and I heard people out of the theatre saying the same thing. I teared up so many times. TADC is beautiful.
@dkdetectionunit@JazzyTheSmooth1 throwing multiple concurrent race wars over whether it is/isn't okay to murder a young white man for existing. You should be out there telling these fucking maniacs to stop justifying Karmelo Anthony's actions before they convince more white people that black ppl will choose
@JazzyTheSmooth1 Considering it was a word used to dehumanize a race and kill them as well, it makes no sense for someone to want to respect or love a word with a bloody history, the blood of their own. It should have been forgotten and abandoned.
But she’s honestly right tho
As a black person, I’m so sick of the babying bullshit around the n-word. It’s done nothing but enflame race relations for years now, and I truly believe we’d all be MUCH better off if everyone stopped giving it so much power.
Letting it enrage them enough to the point of physically attacking others. Viewing it as this sacred fucking cow that MUST be respected and never spoken in any context unless you’re the right skin color.
It’s childish. It’s been childish for a long, LONG time and I’m not afraid of saying that it is.
@Lockst3p@merctrio Or maybe not adopt a word used to dehumanize and kill a race into modern vernacular of the race it was used against? It makes no sense why they would WANT to claim the word used to kill their own.
@c0smic0nfetti@merctrio And what race is using the term in almost every sentence in their slang, music, writing, etc.? Oh right, the race it was used to discriminate against. At this point just send that disgusting word to the ether. It shouldn’t have been forgotten not adopted into use.
@Kaela03278407@DynoStorm@merctrio “Calling someone Black is generally not considered racist by itself. It is a widely accepted, standard racial identifier. However, context, intent, and tone determine whether the usage is respectful or discriminatory.” — Google
Took two seconds.
@merctrio > We're all one race
> N is a bad discriminatory word
> Blacks can say it
> Its not bad when they say it
> Its only bad when Whites say it
Yeah, believe it or not, this literally makes no sense and some people (esp autistics) want things to make sense.
Get a real problem. 😁
@merctrio So how has the word "racist" been redefined and watered down now where it's racist to discuss the n-word? It's blatantly a scare word, "don't make me upset or I'll break out the hex.". The word racist has more offensive power than the n-word at this point.
@merctrio Part of it is a logical question and why I detest the n-word. It originated as a racial slur. Imagine taking a word meant to dehumanize an entire race, and said race decides to make that a term of endearment. People DIED to this word. It's so stupid. Just erase the damn word ffs.
@KinaMagica@Manahbee@SEGA@MiiaTzu What’s more disgusting is people on this platform using Pride month to justify harassing people for having preferences or different opinions, and very tone-deaf.
@MrSneakySean@cmP3re@Tectone@kingReymyon I found out about this and yeah, the should be ashamed. Using pride month as a shield to harass people for having different opinions is (ironically) bigoted as hell
@cmP3re@Tectone@kingReymyon Someone got a partnership of some sort with Sega. Trans person flips out, wishing death on them, and basically has a small mental breakdown saying "DIE" over and over. They think it is extra bad bc pride month.
