@JayExci Quit meat in February, and modern advances in artificial food made it feel like I haven't.
Had a restaurant replace chicken in a pasta with diced fake burger, and it was grand. Could hardly tell the difference. Made me think, "It'd be funny if they just fed me actual meat. ๐"
@ThatTerfTho @JasonReidUK Stopping "actual" women and keeping them out of "women-only spaces" is definitely defensible and totally not just thinly-veiled misogyny. "...underscore[s] how much women want their own spaces..." Absolute clowns. It's a wonder how anyone takes these losers seriously.
@ThatTerfTho @JasonReidUK Oh, yeah, let's join the movement that says, "This c*ck is obviously female. I can just taste the XX chromosomes." How "biological." Just wow! Average GC translation: "I'm a m*r*n! Your attention magically means I win! Now excuse me while I reinforce systems of misogyny! ๐คก"
Forgot to add context. When business is low in FF chains, managers typically send certain workers home to save the company/franchise money.
In the case of boycotts, a worker I know got caught up and directly felt the blow, hence my desire for discussion in the first place.
I'm curious to open a discussion on restaurant boycotts. I haven't eaten at McDonald's in about a year (and change) 'cause BDS. However, sending people who live paycheck-to-paycheck home makes it more difficult for people (who are often Visa/immigrants) to live. Thoughts? /gen ๐งต
Either way, it's still easier to boycott the Dells, Microsofts, and Intels side of things, because researchers won't suffer to the same degree as restaurant workers.
Incidentally, Acti-Blizz has been the easiest boycott ever! Haven't bought from 'em in years! x'D [5/5]
