Hi!! If you follow me and are offended that I am not following you, please reply with 👀 and I will follow you until something weird shows up in my timeline 😸
idea: osu! story mode dropping for the osu! 20 year anniversary. some official map pack integrated with an unlock system and some pippi & co asset cutscenes would be cool, because as great as all the tournament customs are, it feels like they disappear into history

Alright. Looking through tons of comments, it seems like there's still lots of very understandable disbelief at my skill level. Let's fix that. This thread will be the results of the experiment that I have conducted to answer the question I've been getting for over a decade.
@osuTacoBellDays hmm.. haven't been in a good while, but i always got baja/mountain dew/pepsi with one of the limited combo boxes. Sometimes, we'd get a few dozen doritos locos for family dinner. Dang, maybe I start going again.
@fieeraontop Theoretically, there is no ar where it's exactly the same. Engine and hardware limitations exist, but not sure if that matters more than visual acuity. It may be worth noting that McOsu's Mafham mod isn't true -inf. It's usually in the thousands based on map length.
@fieeraontop There is no specific ar in practice. It depends on too many other factors like the pattern and the skin. I doubt humans will get anywhere near the point where two notes look exactly the same. There are already so few who can comfortably read ar2.
@fieeraontop Are you asking if there is a certain ar where it becomes unreadable past the human limit? As far as I can tell, I haven't hit a hard wall yet exploring pretty low (on hd), but progress is slow. It really just depends on you and the pattern for how low you can go on it.
See you in 3 years when the new generation comes in and we need to school them again. Ignore the haters and let's work together to set more cool scores!
Finally, I want to shout out the actual memory players in the community. They are probably the most passionate and knowledgeable ones of our community. It makes no sense to associate feats that took more practice with being less impressive.
