We promise to never be like this with our games. If it sucks, its handmade suck, and we wont grift/lie/steal for money. Thats an Aetherbyte promise.
@spacemoai has he moved on from MSX to MD?
@11975MHz New games also ignore sprite limits, obviously, and introduce a ton of visual flair/eyecandy.
Theres a fine line to straddle so it feels authentic to the imitated platform, but has a little extra oomph.
The palette limits help create cohesion.
@IntRschAgncy@St1ka Nah, that version looked like uncanny valley Ultima lol, and it lacks the catchy tunes only NES/MSX got.
Id try the new patched NES one if I were you.
@IntRschAgncy@St1ka ??Ignorant? I've completed Ultima 3 in every possible form that exists, and can say in full confidence that NES, esp. With the recent upgrade patch, is the best way. CGA dos is the most nostalgic though.
Thanks for "allowing my opinion". Wow
