@ShitpostRock The new DOOM games are a good example of this. You could play Dark Ages, sure, but having all the extra information undercuts the narrative bits you are given throughout 2016 and Eternal, throws the vibe off. Just play them in release order.
@MilesTrav Yes, a good example of this is the new DOOM games. While you could start with Dark Ages, doing so messes with the pacing of narrative knowledge you get from 2016 and Eternal, the words don't hit as heavy because it's not a new reveal.
@MilesTrav Case in point. A lot of Doom Eternal players were disappointed with the Dark Ages due to missing mobility. And a lot of them love the DLC for dark ages that added it back.
@RiotHeckler Just because I haven't gotten word on if it's been acknowledged or fixed yet. Kassadin's Riftwalk is erroneously stacking the AP ratio as well as the base damage instead of just the base damage, leading to absolutely absurd damage.
@MilesTrav@Simon_Hypixel Agreed, flying just skips content, and if the sense of progression includes the desire to skip content, then the gameplay loop isn't engaging enough and that is the real problem.
@RBunFoX@MilesTrav@Simon_Hypixel Ah yes let me go and open up a minecraft video and see how their exploration is going. Oh nevermind, they're just Elytra and rockets over the entire map and never have to engage with anything on the ground, ever.
@RiotFeralPony I managed to get into game and tested. Kassadin's Riftwalk is indeed erroneously stacking the AP scaling as well as the base damage. had some AP, rank 2 riftwalk, riftwalked onto 0 MR enemies, did 126 damage, the next riftwalk did 256 instead of 196.
@RiotFeralPony Also, if nerfed classic kits are an option for League Classic. If after the meta settles and these types of bugs are fixed, I would strongly recommend nerfing his E-Q-R AP ratios over other changes. There was an entire gameplay style of Kassadin that was ignored because of them.
@RiotFeralPony I have seen videos of Kassadin's riftwalk doing way more damage than it did when I OTP'd him pre-rework, by the math it appears that his riftwalk is erroneously stacking the AP ratio like rework Kass. Also his kit seems a mix of different patches.

It's definitely off, these riftwalk numbers are consistently double or more of even my most fed games from before the rework.
@Atlanticaph0tic@shotgunless That's the MachineGames reboot universe. Original B.J. Blazkowicz had a son, Arthur, who is the father of Commander Keen. It's possible that modern iD is saying that the Slayer's mother was the Blazkowicz, hence not having the surname.
