The Media for Peace Training organized by @GIZ under the PEACECORE 2 strengthened our understanding of how misinformation, disinformation, & fake news fuel conflict, while equipping us with fact-checking & digital security tools to strengthen our peacebuilding & media literacy
These motorcycles tell a story of commitment. Participants from different villages rode in for our stakeholders’ dialogue under the Speak Peace Project. Showing that peace is worth the journey. Every bike parked here represents a voice for dialogue, trust, and shared solutions.
dialogue = peace
Through a 3-day Reflective Structured Dialogue in Bali LGA, Taraba state, farming and herder communities moved from intra-dialogue to joint commitments for peace and grievance resolution. Proud to support locally led solutions that strengthen social cohesion.
We celebrate the strength, leadership, & resilience of women & girls who are driving peace, development, & positive change in our communities.
We remain committed to empowering and centering women so they can thrive and lead.
Happy International Women’s Day!

Prevention starts in the classroom
AfRICOSUD, in partnership with @MarbenFoundation, organized a 2-day Capacity-Building Workshop for Local CSOs in Taraba State on 23–24 Jan 2026.
The workshop strengthened CSOs’ capacity in project delivery, accountability, and sustainable community engagement.

Because of your support, people in fragile communities understood what a peaceful society could look like in 2025.
Thanks to our donors, partners and supporters.
Let's do more in 2026!
The Educators for Peace project is not necessarily about making peace education a stand alone subject, rather it is empowering teachers in fragile communities with skills and resources that make these competences be embedded in classroom culture across subjects and disciplines.
We are intentional about raising a generation of young people who are equipped with skills to prevent violent extremism, conflict and ensure social cohesion, and teachers are the bridges we need.
Following the workshop, participants across Taraba, Benue and Adamawa states
Adamawa cohort training held over two days brought over 28 teachers from fragile communities in the state to imagine what peace would look like from the classroom.
For us, Peace starts here!
Teachers are at the heart of shping mindset.
