That's a great question Ariel! 😁 Work has a way of putting us in situations that reveal things to us ABOUT US that are oftentimes also ignored by us. For example, difficult coworkers can reveal how we handle conflict. A challenging supervisor can reveal how well (or not) we respond to authority. Pressure can reveal our attitude, patience, character, and all sorts of things that we constantly ignore. Father (God) can use, have used, and will use these things to show us ourselves. The real question is, are we willing to see and hear what He's saying?

@LeonWgmii OMG! Yessss! Because it shifts our focus from what everyone else is doing, to what the experience is doing IN US! That kind of reflection isn't always comfortable, but it is certainly EVIDENCE that a change is taking place! ⚔️

Absolutely! Sometimes, the work that reshapes us most isn't the work that's comfortable. The pressures, the challenges, and the difficult relationships within the environment can reveal areas within us that we never would have recognized otherwise. Meaningful work doesn't just change what we do, it changes WHO we are becoming in the process! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Have YOUR DESIRES been FULLY SURRENDERED to God? 🤔

I decided to share this reel because it addresses something deeper than simply leaving a bad relationship. It's about how our own desires (lusts) can interfere with our ability to HEAR and/or recognize God's direction!

"Lust" is not limited to some sexual desire! ‼️

It challenges THE THING that we want so badly that we are willing to ignore what Father is showing us about it! 👈🏾

We ask Him for direction and the whole time, our hearts are hoping that He agrees with the decision that we've already made! 👈🏾

We ask Him to show us what to do, but when His instructions threaten something that our flesh has become attached to, we suddenly began struggling to HEAR! ⚔️

Yessss, I had to learn this through relationships, but I also learned that sometimes OBSTRUCTION isn't the devil, sometimes it is our own desires that HAVE NOT been FULLY SURRENDERED! ‼️
