Multiple sources are reporting that Qari Eesa Ahmadi @qarieisa has been put on an exit control list in Iran. The Iranian Authorities are preventing him from boarding a flight to Turkey. He has been an outspoken critic of the Taliban on religious grounds and he has recently participated in multiple conferences associated with the National Resistance Front. Prior to this an Indian national named Kulbhushan Jadhav, an alleged Indian spy was also arrested in Iran and then handed over to Pakistan.
Shameful. Despicable. He must be held accountable for endangering the lives of Hazaras girls, already the Hazara and Shia population are under tremendous threat every day, and are losing their lives to brutal attacks. @hrw@UNAMAnews@heatherbarr1

The US decided that it was in it’s best interest to hand over Afghanistan to the Taliban, and so it did that. That is a fact.
The question of "why did they want to do that?" is a subject of debate. In my opinion, there are two primary reasons:
One reason is to take control of the Taliban away from Pakistan's influence.
Another reason is to transform Afghanistan into a covert base where militant camps can operate and weapons can be smuggled for insurgency primarily into Iran. In the long term, these militants could potentially be employed against China, using the Uyghur issue, as well as against countries friendly to Russia, such as Tajikistan.
