AKS have presented a capacity development paper to HE the Chairman of the state committee of the Republic of Uzb for Ecology and Environment Protection and HE the Ambassador of Republic of Uzb in London. The work will be followed with upcoming workshop to be held in Tashkent.

Female migrants accounted for nearly 45 % of all Afghan migrants, and this share is lower than the global average of 48 % of female international migrants. The report is now available on the DEMAC website Diaspora humanitarian engagement in Afghanistan 2022.

AKS and INCAS Consulting have recently conducted a Real-Time Review of Diaspora Engagement in Afghanistan with the Financial support of Diaspora Emergency Action and Coordination (DEMAC).

A mixed method of data collection was used to assess the current needs of the Afghan community and measure the availability of humanitarian assistance. The report pointed out that Globally, an estimated 5.85 million Afghans lived outside their home country as of mid-year 2020.
