@tiff4mahogany No, the police are not the law, but they are authorized by the law to enforce it. The police are a body of people empowered by a state to enforce laws, protect public order, and keep the peace. Their powers are derived from and limited by the law.

"Africa must be that powerful to make sure that we do what has been determined by ourselves to be important to us and our people."-President #Kagame#RBANews#WGS2024
Heartbreaking to witness the former Chief of the Afghan Armed Forces, a symbol of resilience and strength, now working as a security guard in the USA. The collapse of the republic isn't just about losing a nation; it's also about losing careers, ranks, and the dreams of countless individuals. The tragic trajectory persists, affecting the second and third generations of Afghans in conflict. This poignant reality underscores the profound losses endured by the Afghan people, and it compels us to reflect on the human toll of political upheaval.
@NilofarAyoubi Until the brave men of Afghanistan stand up to protest in large numbers to support the brave women of Afghanistan, random killing and abuses by the Taliban elements will not cease.
Remember, the world is with you. We love you, and we appreciate you because we know your worth.
In the Khaja Othman area of Almar district in Faryab province,The lifeless body of a woman was found, and it was later revealed that she had been shot by the Taliban. This woman, a resident of Erzlik Qaisar, had gone missing after visiting her daughter's house, causing great distress to her family. Adding to the horror, a video recording has emerged, showing the woman being stopped and interrogated by the Taliban.
Some days I feel like quitting my job and devoting myself completely to the noble cause of fighting for the rights of women in Afghanistan...it is not easy to be a woman anywhere and it's one million times worse when you are a woman from Afghanistan! #WomenEmpowerment
Women are being held back from decent work by:
Lower paying jobs
Little or no social protection
Lack of affordable childcare
Without women’s full participation, we can never build peaceful, prosperous societies.
